These scales are in the bargain bin due to fissures throughout the middle of the scales. These will fill with thin CA, but COULD compromise the integrity of the scales. I would advise the use of a thick liner and taking care to not flex the scales. Once they are glued up, I anticipate there will be no issue. This is why they are so cheap0.325".
