#1042 - Tru-Blue Spalted Maple Burl - Bargain Bin

Sanded to 500 grit, polished, and photographed. No finish, no laquer, just natural beauty!

These scales are in the bargain bin due to fissures throughout the middle of the scales. These will fill with thin CA, but COULD compromise the integrity of the scales. I would advise the use of a thick liner and taking care to not flex the scales. Once they are glued up, I anticipate there will be no issue. This is why they are so cheap0.325".
